We’re looking for a Junior WordPress Developer to join our team for a 1-month contract to help with overflow work and ongoing website support. This is an on-site role in Portsmouth as full training will be provided. You’ll be working exclusively on our custom WordPress theme, so a strong understanding of native WordPress development is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with custom WordPress themes (no page builders – we don’t use them)
• Knowledge of WordPress hooks, template hierarchy, and best practices
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• A keen eye for detail and ability to follow brand guidelines

• Assisting with the development and maintenance of our custom WordPress sites
• Implementing new features, templates, and styling
• Fixing bugs and providing support for existing websites
• Collaborating with our design and development team to deliver high-quality results
