POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, the Jr Workplace Experience Strategist’s goal is to assist in streamlining and elevating experiences for both customers and internal POI stakeholders. They will assist in the development and management of the customer visit process and maximizing the effectiveness of our LivingLAB spaces. Ensuring all our spaces represent the POI culture, effectively communicate our brand story, and differentiate us from our competition.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as part of a team or independently. They will be creative and passionate about workplace design. They should have the ability to delegate, independently prioritize and make confident, decisive decisions, to remain efficient and effective in their role. They are also expected to foster positive relationships with all POI Teams and support the applicable elements of the POI customer journey.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
  • Experience in corporate planning and design is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with planning and specifying systems furniture is an asset (Steelcase and Global expertise is an asset)
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2013 or current release
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Responsibilities

Customer Visit Responsibilities

  • Participate in visit setup, presentation preparation, and pre visit strategy discussions with internal stakeholders & functional leader(s) to determine needs and experience expectations.
  • Participate as required in strategic customer visits
  • Support in the development and documentation of the end-to-end client visit process (from invitation to post-visit follow-up)
  • Support day-to-day management of our Customer Visit intake scheduling system
  • Support with any internal communication, training, and management of the established customer visit process
  • Manage the collection of feedback from the customer and internal stakeholders on the visit experience
  • Provide monthly analysis reports based on above feedback, reports to include recommendations for improvements and or enhancements as required

LivingLAB Responsibilities

  • Participate in the furniture application and design discussions for all POI LivingLAB space updates and/or relocations
  • Support, as required, in the development interior design drawings and or details required for any POI locations alterations projects
  • Support all POI furniture installations and updates, and regional office installations as required
  • Monitor and triage, LivingLAB health through our space feedback survey and Workplace analytics
  • Provide regular space performance and health status reports complete with new learnings and recommendations for improvements. (Toronto location only)
  • Support internal communication of all Toronto LivingLAB changes and/or updates
  • Participate in the review of all proposed LivingLAB mock-up installations (Toronto mock-up installations only)
  • Support in planning and execution of bespoke customer experiences, or industry events
  • Support the development and maintenance of Living LAB Experience guide(s)
  • Ensure product knowledge is current by attending product training seminars, manufacturer showroom visits and courses
