JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Junk Removal Specialist to join our team at NWLI (Northwest Labor Industries). This role involves providing exceptional customer service while efficiently removing unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Starting rate is $20/hr - with a clear and direct route to lead roles, management and other operational roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in roles involving heavy lifting or moving items.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks or similar vehicles is essential.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of manual transmission driving is advantageous but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the job.

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner to assess their junk removal needs.
• Operate box trucks and other vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload items from the truck, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage or injury.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of various items, including furniture, appliances, and construction debris.
• Maintain flexible, potentially short notice availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and company vehicles, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Follow designated routes for pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely service to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
