This position reports to: Finance Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial processes and transactions to optimize financial performance within the factory/site. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in YangZhong China. Main stakeholders are JV Broad of directives You will be mainly accountable for: Contribute to the definition of the company strategy. Translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets. Drive business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility. Monitor progress achieved and provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making (including pricing support) proactively. Identify issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization and capital efficiency. Drive collection process to reduce overdue receivables and take actions to improve Net Working Capital. Drive processes related to the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other public financial reporting for local companies. Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant stakeholders to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility Assessing business risk exposure and define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Ensuring that risk management processes are consistently implemented in own area of responsibility Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations Stay updated on local laws and regulations, develop and implement compliance programs, conduct audits and assessments, provide training, ensure internal policy compliance, investigate violations, identify and manage compliance risks, maintain records, and prepare reports. Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s degrees in finance, accounting and related fields. 10 years’ work experiences in the areas of business controlling, financial reporting, and business performances review and analysis, with at least 5 years in people management. Proven ability to anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks, and to apply appropriate controls over accounting and reporting processes. Ability to demonstrate your experience in Financial Analysis, Performance management, Data Analysis, Risk Management and Internal Control. Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP System and reporting & controls platforms.
