JOB SUMMARY

Elite Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our team for the Fall 2025 semester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Math to students in grades 6 through 8. The Fall program runs from Saturday, September 6th to Saturday, January 17th, for a total of 17 weeks.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in Math teaching methodologies
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: Experience teaching in NYC public or private schools

• Provide instruction in various aspects of Mathematic concepts and skills to students in grades 6–8, with a focus on Hunter and SHSAT preparation
• Develop and implement engaging writing lesson plans aligned with the 6th–8th grade curriculum
• Help students improve their test prep strategies and skills, and critical thinking abilities
• Offer guidance and feedback on academic progress
