What You Will Do: Plan instructional tasks that are meaningful and related to learning goals. Communicate a high-level of expectation and clear learning goals to students. Adapt instruction to meet the needs of all students. Conduct ongoing assessments for learning. Display enjoyment, humor, and enthusiasm for teaching and expect students to enjoy learning. Establish appropriate classroom rules and procedures that are clearly understood by all students. Participate in professional growth opportunities and demonstrate professionalism. Follow Agency and School policies and procedures. Support Agency goals. Report student progress through initial, quarterly, annual, and discharge reports in accordance with accreditation, licensing, and Agency standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree Required. Licensure: South Dakota State Certified Educator Preferred Ability to Obtain South Dakota Alternative Educator Certification Required

Responsibilities also include conducting ongoing assessments, maintaining professional conduct, and submitting required student progress reports.
