A Kafka Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, management, and monitoring of Apache Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. They manage the Kafka environment, including brokers, topics, and partitions, and work with other teams to integrate Kafka with various systems.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Cluster Management: Setting up, configuring, and managing Kubernetes clusters, including both on-premises and cloud-based deployments.
- Configuration & Deployment: Configuring cluster components, deploying applications, and managing their lifecycle.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to cluster components, applications, networking, and storage.
- Security: Implementing and maintaining security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and applications.
- Monitoring & Logging: Monitoring cluster and application resource usage and managing container output streams.
- Storage Management: Configuring and managing persistent volumes and persistent volume claims.
- Networking: Managing Kubernetes networking, including services and ingress.Scaling: Scaling applications and resources within the cluster to meet changing demands.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
