Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role  Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kaitaki, Awhinuku - Team Leader, Service Provision to join the Mana Taurite me te Oranga Tauira - Student Equity and Wellbeing Portfolio team on a permanent, full-time basis. Key responsibilities: * Lead a team of administration staff to ensure they are effectively managed to provide professional and timely customer service for students accessing equity services. * Foster a positive, focused, collaborative, innovative and inclusive team culture.  * Collaborate with key service delivery partners to ensure students receive a seamless service.  * Lead the continuous development of service provision to ensure it meets the needs of today’s student and is delivered effectively and efficiently. * Provide timely, engaging communication and events content to support students to be well informed and connected. * Contribute to service development and planning, including the coordination and management of projects. Ō pūmanawa - About you You will be a results-driven administration lead with proven expertise in managing front-line teams, streamlining complex service delivery, and upholding high standards of customer service. Key requirements: * Proven service leadership experience supporting a front-line team, fostering a positive, collaborative and inclusive culture. * Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations, including planning and task management. * A genuine commitment to the upholding the dignity of equity students. * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, and experience with databases or client management systems. * Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
