Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting fixed-term, part-time Kaiwhakaako - Teaching Fellow in Health Psychology with Te Puna Hauora – School of Health, to teach across both Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 for 2026. Key responsibilities: To coordinate and deliver courses: HLWB 205 Theory and Research in Health Psychology – Trimester 1 HPSY 501 Health Psychology: Health and Wellbeing in Context – Trimester 1 Marking and teaching support for the Health Psychology Programme – Trimester 2 Attend course coordination meetings and other hui as required Ō pūmanawa - About you You will be a motivated, student-focused individual, with experience in health psychology tertiary education. Key requirements: A completed (or almost completed) PhD in a relevant field, or other relevant qualifications commensurate with the role. Demonstrated experience, and evidence of successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level. Enthusiasm for teaching and familiarity with innovation in learning and teaching practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts efficiently and effectively. Ability to work with others, and to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Demonstrated ability, or clear potential, to build and maintain appropriate professional working relationships or networks of contact. Ability to coordinate and manage groups. Responsibilities
