Rifle Builder Job Summary: The Rifle Builder is responsible for building and customizing precision rifles with high attention to detail, safety, and craftsmanship. This role includes machining, assembly, finishing, and support of firearm builds. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-driven, and committed to delivering quality in every component. Rifle Builder Responsibilities: - Complete gunsmithing projects including machining, assembling, and painting - Disassemble and organize customer rifles - Perform scheduled maintenance on machines and shop equipment - Maintain a clean and safe shop environment - Assemble small firearm components - Conduct hands-on work with firearms - Travel up to 10% may be required - All other duties as assigned by management Rifle Builder Skills and Competencies: - Strong attention to detail and time management - Eagerness to learn and improve under mentorship - Ability to build and paint rifles with precision - Positive, team-focused attitude and communication - Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Rifle Builder Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required - Knowledge of firearms industry and rifle component understanding - Commitment to firearms safety protocols - Background in firearms or outdoor industries preferred - Appreciation for the aesthetics of custom firearms - Must agree to and sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements - Ability to lift 40 lbs - Clean 5-year driving record Rifle Builder Work Environment: - Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods (67-100%) - Frequent hand and foot usage - Occasional climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting - Lifting and moving up to 50+ pounds occasionally - Work takes place indoors and outdoors with exposure to loud environments, extreme temperatures, humidity, and airborne particles Rifle Builder Benefits: - Health Insurance - Vision Insurance - Dental Insurance - 401k - Paid Time Off - Profit Sharing - Counseling
