We are seeking a highly skilled and driven KDB Developer to join our team, contributing to advanced data solutions for leading global financial institutions.
As part of our dynamic kdb+ consulting practice, you will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to shape cutting-edge software solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of professional experience using kdb+/Q in a development or engineering role
  • Strong academic foundation in mathematics, engineering, finance, technology, or related disciplines
  • Expertise in developing software applications using Java, C++, or Python
  • Competency in deployment tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity for CI/CD processes
  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning

    This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$85,000 - CA$185,000. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global clients to deliver tailored kdb+ consulting services
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for product installations, troubleshooting, and customizations
  • Influence software design and architecture, taking ownership of design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Engage with users to gather requirements, integrate applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide training
  • Implement and support solutions for accessing and querying data efficiently
  • Contribute to performance tuning, optimization, and scalability of kdb+ applications
  • Ensure seamless application deployment using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate across teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
