QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year of experience in metalwork or fabrication preferred (on-the-job training available)
  • Basic welding experience (MIG required; TIG and STICK a plus)
  • Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery
  • Ability to read a tape measure and basic shop drawings
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding, dirty environment
  • Must bring: steel-toe work boots, jeans/work pants, and welding helmet
  • Must be dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of custom metal components, including handrails, platforms, ramps, and more
  • Use MIG, TIG, and STICK welding processes (training provided for candidates with basic experience)
  • Operate metalworking equipment including grinders, sanders, band saws, chop saws, and drill presses
  • Read and interpret tape measures and basic fabrication drawings
  • Work with a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, pipe, angle, and tube
  • Perform finishing and cleanup of fabricated items to meet aesthetic and structural standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Collaborate with team members and follow directions from supervisors
