OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel and Cattery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent service to both pets and their owners. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to manage large, heavy breeds.
• The work involved is extremely physical and hard work, so the candidate will need to be physically fit enough to fulfill this role
• Be able to work as part of a team and on their own.
• Have good time management skills
• Ability to show initiative and plan days around the needs of the animals in our care.
• Be comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats.
• Weekend work.
• Shift hours are 7.30am-1pm and 2pm-6pm, 7 days per week.
• Reliability
  This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 15 hours to 25 hours per week over a 4 week period.

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and cats.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces by performing regular cleaning tasks.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of animals in our care
• Customer service including reception duties.
