We are a small, family-run dog boarding and daycare kennel located in Yarker, ON. Our facility provides a safe and nurturing environment for dogs of all breeds. We rely heavily on our team to maintain the high standard of care we’re known for—not just for the dogs, but for the rhythm and responsibilities of our family and farm life.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, self-directed, and detail-oriented individual to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who loves dogs, takes pride in a clean and organized space, and enjoys hands-on, meaningful work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions on the spot
• Experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have own transportation (rural location)
• Flexible availability — including weekends and holidays
• Available to work split shifts - 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon
• Available to start work at 6:45 AM

• Clean and sanitize dog suites, dishes, play areas, and facility spaces
• Organize dogs into safe and appropriate playgroups based on size and temperament
• Manage dog arrivals and departures, including customer check-in/out
• Monitor dog behavior for safety and well-being
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a calm environment at all times
