OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. Must be able to be able to commit to working Wednesday to Saturday. Will be responsible for providing excellent care to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal welfare and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred, showcasing strong communication skills.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and cats.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kennels and play areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.

  • Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners and addressing their inquiries.
  • Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling appointments.
