REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a kennel, cattery, or animal care management role.
• Confident in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments.
• Experience administering medications.
• Strong organisational and communication skills (phone, email, face-to-face).
• Honest, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays as needed.
• The candidate must be reliable and prepared to work in all weather conditions as elements of the job are outdoors.
• Possess a clean driving license and have access to own transport.

• Oversee the daily care and welfare of dogs and cats.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Manage bookings, records, and client correspondence.
• Supervise and support kennel staff as required.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and animal welfare.
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
