  Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Kennel Receptionist to join our team! Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care for our patients and an exceptional level of service for the owners who love them. We aim to provide a fun, safe, and clean space in our kennel for pets to stay while their owners are away. Our ideal candidate must have a love for animals, strong communication skills and previous experience in customer service, sales or reception. To best serve our clients and their pets, a weekend shift commitment and select holidays are required. Responsibilities: * Check-in and check-out pets for boarding and grooming * Greet clients, enter or update client and pet information into the practice computer system * Answer phones and schedule appointments * Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services * Maintain a clean and healthy environment * Handle general care tasks such as walking dogs, feeding animals and cleaning cages as needed * Assist in restraining and bathing animals as needed Qualifications: * Previous experience in customer service, sales, or reception required * Previous experience in animal handling or kennel care preferred * Ability to build rapport with clients * Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner * Ability to work as part of a team * Ability to prioritize and multitask
Responsibilities
The Kennel Receptionist is responsible for checking pets in and out, managing client information, and scheduling appointments. They also perform general animal care tasks such as walking, feeding, and bathing, while maintaining a clean facility environment.
