The Administration and Events Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Kent Station (Kent, WA) and Sunrise Village (Puyallup, WA) Tarragon Property Services offices and supporting the Events Manager with on-site events.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience required.
  • 1+ years of planning and implementing successful events preferred.
  • Experience in the retail or other commercial property management sector preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills with the ability to anticipate needs, independently prioritize duties, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure successful promotions and events.
  • Clear, concise, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager preferred but not required.
  • Excellent networking skills to build relationships with vendors and suppliers and attract new customers.
  • Demonstrates a strong affinity for delivering high-quality customer service internally and externally.
  • Invests in relationships through trust-based, respectful interactions with all individuals.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset with an emphasis on continual improvement of systems, self, and team.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Kent Station and Sunrise Village.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
