Description The primary role is to ensure Safety, Quality and Production processes are being followed. Responsibilities: Participate in daily shift change meeting. Conduct Safety, Quality, Process and Training Audits. Process Production Orders Participate/Lead daily tier meetings. Address and coordinate daily manpower issues. First response to any personnel conflict issues Must be able to troubleshoot and monitor production operations & address issues as they arise. Machine adjustments, troubleshooting defects, operational errors. Participate in Root Cause Analysis Strong computer skills with ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel. Ability to learn/operate Infor WMS/ API Pro Recognize Safety Issues and take appropriate actions. Must be able to communicate effectively at all business levels. Ability to prioritize and respond to shifting demands. Requirements Experience: Prior assembly/production and manufacturing experience a plus. Understanding of lean process & manufacturing tools a plus. Education: Two-year degree or technical training degree/certification Combination of experience and specific industry related training and experience may substitute formal education requirements Represent Schluter Systems in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters Comply with occupational safety regulations Ability to work any shift, overtime and holidays if needed, or on call availability.
