JOB SUMMARY

As the primary point of contact for the customer, managing day to day activities such as sales order entry, chasing of outstanding orders, resolving complaints, handling enquiries, managing delivery expectations- all within a timely manner via phone or email.
You will be a highly organised, able to manage and prioritise your own workload with an excellent eye for detail and take pride in your work.

NON-ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of the industry preferred, but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively communicate with the customer for any delays in delivery
  • Always deliver a first-class customer experience
  • Work closely with the Territory Sales Manager to support and further develop the relationship with the customer and optimize all sales opportunities
  • Produce monthly reports as specified by the Customer or Sales Manager
  • Ensure that KPI’s and SLA’s agreed with the Customer are managed and exceeded
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Purchasing, Warehouse, Distribution to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of service and goods from receipt of sales order, through to despatch
  • Work with Purchasing to improve lead times on products out of stock
  • Work with Sourcing to identify and locate supply of non-catalogued products
  • Where required, issue quotations to customers following guidelines issued by the Sales Manager
