BUSINESS AREA – Singapore Marketing Company, Rare Disease Business Unit AstraZeneca is accelerating the expansion of our geographical footprint in rare diseases following the acquisition of Alexion in 2021. Rare disease is a high-growth therapy area with rapid innovation and significant unmet medical need. Over 7,000 rare diseases are known today – yet less than 1% of them have an approved treatment. As we begin to build our position as a Rare Disease leader, we seek a Senior Product Specialist to join our Rare Disease Business Unit in Singapore. What you’ll do Committed to delivering innovative Rare Disease solutions, you will exhibit AstraZeneca’s pro-active propositions to discover new business opportunities and actively influence clinical demands through engagement programmes with long-term relationships with stakeholders. Essential for the role University degree Valid Class 3/3A driving license An accessible vehicle able to be use for work/ on field full time such as a family car, leased vehicle or own vehicle Desirable for the role High grades in university degree in natural sciences You have 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience in Neurology, Haematology or Specialty Care Therapeutic Areas. Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, e.g., mid and senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community Execute strategies and business plans to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, access, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc. Convey clear value propositions to HCPs Proven track record in influencing the stakeholder decision-making process and creating value in an ecosystem with multiple influential players / decision makers Proven demonstration of successful working in complex cross functional teams This position is not eligible for sponsorship of employment visa/work permit in Singapore.
