Description
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to take over and grow our strategic accounts in the Pune region, with a primary focus on Tata Motors and key automotive suppliers. In this role, you will drive customer engagement, develop long-term partnerships, and promote A2MAC1’s portfolio of automotive benchmarking, data, and digital solutions. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, identifying new growth opportunities, preparing structured commercial proposals, and ensuring an outstanding client experience. This position requires strong sales capabilities, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work with data-driven insights to support negotiations. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Manage and grow a portfolio of key automotive accounts in the Pune region (including Tata Motors and Tier-1 suppliers). Promote A2MAC1’s full portfolio of data, benchmarking and consulting solutions. Build trust-based relationships with technical and business stakeholders. Prepare structured commercial proposals supported by historical data and relevant insights. Lead negotiations with a clear, organized, and data-driven approach. Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts. Organize regular customer meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations. Work closely with internal teams (Costing, Product, Technical Support, Operations) to ensure seamless delivery. Track account performance, forecast revenue, and monitor key metrics. Maintain accurate information in the CRM and ensure high data quality. Provide regular reporting to senior management on activity, risks, and growth opportunities. Support the development of sales strategies for the India cluster. PROFILE & SKILLS 10+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Service within the automotive industry (OEM or Tier-1), with direct client management responsibilities. Experience selling IT, PLM, SaaS, data or digital solutions is highly preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure data for commercial discussions. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. High level of organization, autonomy, and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt communication to different personas. Proficiency with Excel and a data-driven approach to prepare sales arguments. Fluency in English and Marathi is mandatory. Hindi is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools is appreciated.
