Description

Key Account Manager in Nutrition business, this position is based in City Place, San Jose, Costa Rica.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licentiate
  • Minimum experience 3-5 years as a sales experience in consumer goods and/or pharma companies as Key Account Manager (Walmart, Pricesmart, others).
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish. Speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  • Digital skills: Microsoft office, Excel
  • Driver license is required.

Responsibilities
  • In charge of key account management customer specific quotas. Ensure Costa Rica achieves customer and team specific quotas. Customize and adapt country commercial strategy to channel reality. Deliver strategical and execute tactical initiatives to enhance channel strategy.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships. Reach beyond the buyers to forge strategic partnerships with key customers. Partner with sales (demand) and marketing team to ensure commercial strategy alignment. Develop and leverage a deep knowledge of the customer, industry and competitive landscape. Implement the right price and portfolio strategy for each of the brands on the distribution channel of control.
  • Lead integration and coordination of cross functional initiatives with other functional areas (Supply, Demand, Finance, Logistics) to manage all business variables. Participates in monthly business reviews to align all initiatives. Provide input into volume forecast (S&OP), promotions, retail initiatives. Manage Customers Gross to Net.
  • Constant market monitoring to track initiatives and seek for business opportunities and present above target initiatives to ensure brands and customers growth.
  • Know Customers KPIs and match them with Abbott objectives.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to assure execution in point of sales.
  • Manage and optimize top line budget ensuring internal procedures.
