DESCRIPTION:

Bridor, which is continuing to expand in North America, is looking for its future Key account manager.
This person will be responsible for the Ottawa market, as well as Eastern Ontario, and may also spend time in the Gatineau region.
The position requires a high level of mobility, with 80% of the time spent on the road and 20% working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target and close new sales within existing and prospective customers to increase case sales and profitability.
  • Prospecting and qualifying future customer opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships between the company and its customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • 85% travel within territory 15% home office.
  • Prepare, plan and conduct product presentations on behalf of Bridor to existing and potential new customers.
  • Analyze, track and report all sales using the Bridor CRM platform.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer complaints by collecting and logging information to maximize satisfaction.
  • Ongoing communication of trend and competition information within the trade and bakery sector.
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets and ensure objectives are met.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly expense reports.
  • Negotiate and manage customer contracts.
  • Support and implement all marketing initiatives, sales promotions and new product launches within the territory.
  • Manage promotional/marketing budgets with customers and distributors.
  • Have a strong understanding of customer buying patterns and seasonality needs within your territory.
  • Manage proper inventory of samples, POS and supplies.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a highly motivated self starter.
  • Proven ability in new business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Effective “hunter” and “closer”.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys working in the field with customers.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to create and maintain financial and CRM reports.
  • Positive attitude is a must.
  • Must be bilingual.
