Key Account Manager – Pharmaceuticals/Hospital Sales

C&C life Sciences are supporting a global pharmaceutical company specialising in critical care and hospital medicines in the appointment of a Key Account Manager covering South Germany.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established international organisation with a strong portfolio within critical care, working closely with key hospital stakeholders across the region.

The Role

As Key Account Manager, you will take responsibility for developing and managing relationships with key hospital accounts across South Germany. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, hospital specialists, pharmacy departments and other key decision-makers to develop strategic relationships and drive the appropriate use of the company's portfolio. The role will have a strong focus on critical care, with responsibility for identifying opportunities, developing key accounts and delivering commercial growth across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key hospital accounts and clinical stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers within hospitals, including clinicians, pharmacy and procurement stakeholders.
• Drive product adoption and achieve agreed sales objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans for priority hospitals.
• Provide product and clinical information to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Work collaboratively with internal medical, marketing and commercial teams.
• Manage the territory effectively, including regular travel throughout the region.

About You

We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales professional with a strong understanding of the hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or Medical Device Key Account Management or hospital-based commercial roles.
• Experience working within critical care, intensive care or related hospital specialties.
• Strong understanding of the German hospital market.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with senior clinical and commercial stakeholders.
• A commercially driven and consultative approach to sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
• Fluency in German
