Carnival Corporation & plc is excited to announce: We are hiring a Key Account Manager to join our Seabourn Team. This full-time permanent position will be based in either Brisbane or Gold Coast and report directly to the Senior Key Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value travel trade accounts across QLD and VIC by building strong relationships, driving revenue, and increasing market share for Seabourn. You will develop and execute strategic account plans, deliver tailored sales presentations, negotiate group bookings and rates, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and onboard experiences. The role involves regular data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making, while also representing the brand at trade events and maintaining a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Managing and developing strategic, long-term relationships with allocated trade accounts to drive sales performance.
  • Executing account strategies that grow revenue, increase Seabourn’s market share, and maximise client engagement.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations and negotiating effectively to secure group bookings and special rate agreements.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Onboard Events, and international teams to deliver end-to-end service excellence.
  • Leading joint marketing initiatives and ensuring trade partners are equipped with the tools and support to succeed.
  • Monitoring account performance, conducting in-depth data analysis, and using insights to guide strategy and reporting.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to clients, educating them on the Seabourn product and driving loyalty through a consultative approach.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE:

  • 5+ years of proven Key Account Management experience
  • Experience in B2B sales and account management within the luxury travel, cruise, or hospitality sectors.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue through strategic account management and solution-based selling.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and close deals.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to draw actionable insights from data and reporting.
  • Experience with POLAR (similar Salesforce) and a sound understanding of group operations and travel agency distribution models.
  • Confidence in public speaking, presenting, and representing the brand at events, seminars, and trade shows.
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and work evenings or weekends as needed.
