1: BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND DEVELOP THE BUSINESS WITH EXISTING KEY ACCOUNTS, DEVELOP OUR IMAGE AS A RELIABLE AND UPMARKET TOUR OPERATOR

  • In line with the segmentation strategy, contribute towards selecting and developing High Potential agencies.
  • Ensure and facilitate the sales fluidity and quality of customer service by following and sometimes managing agency requests and feedback.
  • Follow up all high value bookings in your area.
  • Becoming the Club Med representant of your region, particularly with our ambassador agencies
  • Organize and lead Fam trip in our destinations all around the world to promote and train our B-to-B partners

2: Develop and drive the business, in line with the key sales priorities and the upmarket strategy

  • Organize and structure the commercial planning.
  • Optimize the budget available and structure the activity in accordance with the segmentation strategy.
  • Explain the opening of sales seasons and accompany agencies with the sales tools (POS, sales argument, agent portal, website…)
  • Gain a competitive edge on the market by animating and stimulating the business through incentives on overrides/commissions (per season), agency incentives (gift/holidays), concession offers, etc.
  • Train our partners on Club Med brands, products, activities, offers (services, promotions, sales arguments) and tools (CMTA).

3: Ensure professional administration and organization

  • Update all visits and actions in Salesforce on a weekly basis
  • Promote, train, and accompany the selected agencies on the Club Med Travel Agents portal.
  • Ensure all partners receive accurate reporting on a regular basis.

4: Identify new areas of business and opportunities to increase the sales of Club Med holidays

  • Using “field knowledge” to help Marketing and the Head of Sales identify key regions with a high potential of “Club Med friendly” clientele
  • Identify, with your manager, future partnerships within these key regions.
  • Support new key agencies by explaining the Club Med upmarket concept and provide them with the support, tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inform the Customer Service Centre Manager of the new upmarket partnerships so that the Sales team approach can be adapted accordingly.

5: Accountable for the effective management e-distribution within his/her region

  • You will be responsible for the Bundeslander of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg
  • Identify, with your manager, future partnerships that use an e-distribution model and acquiring them within the sourcing strategy
  • Working with e-distribution teams internally and externally to coordinate and resolve issues within the supply chain that affect Club Med products appearing on the desired website.

Skills and competencies we’re looking for:

EDUCATION LEVEL

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, marketing, or related topics.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in B2B in the tourism or hospitality industry
  • Proven success in developing partnerships with relevant partners and brands within the tourism industry
  • Established and strong network within the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg regions
  • Familiar with local industry commission rates, commercial agreements, and systems
  • Knowledge of Club Med range of services and products, B2B and B2C sales conditions

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications inc. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs
  • Proficient with online systems and booking tools.
  • Willingness to learn additional internal systems such as Salesforce and the Club Med booking engine.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, open for challenges, self-confident with great communication skills.
  • Strong team spirit

Languages

  • You speak German fluently and have a very good level of English
