Location: PlumbagoJob Posting Title: Key Account Manager, Combo, Road LogisticsTime Type: Full Time Main Purpose of The Role:The main purpose of this role is target specific distribution business that fits the company ideal client and product profiles and to maintain/grow existing customer base. Strategic accounts need to win, implemented and retained. Minimum Requirements: • Min 3 years Senior Key Account Management & New Business sales experience.• Experience in prospecting for strategic new business. • Track record in achieving new business sales targets. • Tender Management. Including but not limited to sourcing of information, pricing and ensuring a professional output before the deadline. • Experience in selling and presenting to C Level. • Maintain and grow existing customer base. • Experience with implementation of strategic accounts. • Reporting day to day to the General Manager. Electives:• Experience in the distribution of Telco related products, particularly Business to Customer. To a lesser extent, Business to Business. Qualifications:• Matric (essential).• Logistics qualification would be advantageous. Computer packages:• Microsoft office: including Outlook, Work and Powerpoint. Excel skills (Intermediate). Duties and Responsibilities:• Maintain and grow the existing client base and meet monthly and annual retention targets that have been set. • Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing sustainable clients. • Manage client relationships, both existing and new where applicable. • Monthly billing and financial reporting shared with the various stakeholders. • General administrative duties – daily. • Represent the DSV brand. • Analysis of sales related information and report weekly to Regional New Business Sales Manager.• Maintaining client data and update regularly. • Continuous reporting on competitor and industry analysis. • Manage tender/proposal production and delivery. (Preparation and presentation) • Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business. • Ensure that the required monthly and accumulative targets are met. • Implementation and communication of signed business is shared with all stakeholders. • Management of debtor’s days of clients within the company’s requirements. • Ensure regular Inter department communication. • Identifying cross silo solutions and work with other Department heads to ensure successful partnerships • Ensure all client files are updated and maintained as per the company procedures and Quality Management System. • Carry out any other duties as may be requested by Management. • Update and maintain the internal CRM System. • Meet the expected client call ratio KPI as indicated by your Manager.DSV – Global transport and logistics Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
