We are looking for a Key Account Manager to drive business development and strengthen our presence in the Food & Beverage sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with major food producers and processors, helping them optimise operations with Sulzer’s world-class technology and service solutions.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for key accounts within the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Promote Sulzer’s range of pumps, agitators, and aftermarket services, demonstrating how our solutions enhance reliability, efficiency, and compliance with food industry standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and service, to ensure customer needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring profitable and long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on market trends and customer requirements to drive innovation and competitiveness.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Proven experience in a sales or key account management role within the Food & Beverage sector.
  • A background in delivering pumps, rotating equipment, or aftermarket service and maintenance solutions to food production or processing businesses.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as required.
