Your Scope
Ardo serves its clients globally in the Retail, Food Service, and Industry segments. We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager for the Italian Food Service market. In this role you are part of Ardo’s global sales organization, reporting to the Group Sales Director Food Service, and operating from Italy. Your key responsibilities are:
Account management & customer relations
You are responsible to develop the commercial vision for the Food Service Market in Italy
One of your main tasks is the intense support of customers in the Food Service market throughout Italy.
You implement your sales targets to achieve the group’s goals in terms of market position, sales, and profitability.
As part of your daily business, you negotiate prices and conclude contracts within the group framework.
You introduce new products and product applications as well as represent the company externally (e.g. at various trade fairs, in relevant networks).
You build and nurture strong long-term relationships with key customers and with their decision-makers and stakeholders (e.g. purchasers, marketing, quality, …).
By working closely with the Group Supply Chain, you ensure that demand planning is efficiently aligned with the company’s capacity planning.
You also work closely with the customer service team.
You manage your facts and figures and ensure correct sales forecasts and fulfill timely group reporting needs.
Business development
You identify market potential and actively engage new business relations.
You organize workshops and culinary demonstrations for both existing and potential customers.
Based on your product expertise, you inform, promote, and advise professional end users and regional wholesalers about the Ardo product range and innovations.
Product innovation
You follow up market trends, professional literature and new technologies and share your knowledge within Ardo.
Your profile
You have at least 10 years of relevant professional commercial experience.
Experience within the Food Service Market.
Experience in a food environment is an asset.
You have completed commercial trainings and have a passion for food.
You enjoy working in an environment in which proactive, independent, and self-responsible actions are required.
You’re driven to find solutions and get results in a proactive and structured way.
You are fluent in Italian and have a good level of English to communicate with colleagues.
You are digitally savvy.
Above all, you love to use your strong communication skills to establish long-term relations with possible users of our variety of products through a shared interest in food.
