POSITION SUMMARY

A position driving RSD & Global Portfolio Sales (inclusive ACD & Protein Simple) and starting asap. A field-based sales position responsible for Industrial Key accounts of the Pharma, BioPharma and CRO/CDMO industries located in the North-West-Mid Germany. The role is to grow our RSD (R&D Systems, Tocris, Novus Biological, ACD) and Global Product Portfolio into Industrial Key Accounts. Deep Dive into these Key Accounts, detecting and waking up of sleeping customers in these special accounts. The ideal candidate will have good experience with some of those Industrial Key Accounts, with a life science background and preferably living in the territory.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Degree in a relevant scientific field (BSc minimum; MSc/PhD preferred); solid background in immunology, protein biochemistry, and related workflows.
  • Proven sales success with Industrial Key Accounts in Germany’s Pharma, BioPharma, and CDMO sectors; well-connected and informed about key stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of antibodies, proteins, media, small molecules, and immunology-related workflows; solid grasp of the German Life Science market.
  • Strong abilities in negotiation, pipeline development, and deal-making; experienced in managing large and custom sales opportunities.
  • Fluent in German and English; excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills; effective team player across functions.
  • Skilled with MS Office, Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and SciLeads.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable; energetic with a hunter mentality and a professional, flexible approach.

Location: Field Based, located in Mid-North-West Germany

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive RSD and Global Portfolio sales of Bio-Techne products into Industrial Key Accounts in the Pharma and BioPharma sectors.
  • Plan and execute regular in-person visits to customer sites within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure effective follow-up of sales leads and maintain efficient sales pipeline management.
  • Build and nurture a strong funnel with a focus on large-scale deals and custom project opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with other Bio-Techne sales teams to align on strategic initiatives and cross-functional opportunities.
  • Provide insights on ongoing market conditions, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
  • Occasionally support marketing efforts at key exhibitions, trade shows, and industry conferences.
