This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage and grow strategic accounts within the food ingredients and confectionery sector. The Key Account Manager will serve as the primary commercial lead for high-visibility customers, driving business growth, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of customer initiatives. This role involves proactive customer engagement, strategic planning, and identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a data-driven mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Occasional travel is required, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. \n Accountabilities: Manage and grow key accounts in the ingredients and confectionery categories, serving as the primary commercial point of contact. Lead annual business planning, pricing reviews, and customer scorecard presentations to drive account performance. Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with customer objectives and company capacity. Partner with internal teams across Operations, QA, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and flawless execution. Monitor forecasting, demand planning, and profitability, identifying levers for margin improvement. Support product commercialization, sustainability initiatives, and operational troubleshooting. Conduct on-site business reviews and production visits to strengthen customer partnerships. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 5–7 years of experience managing national or strategic accounts in food manufacturing, ingredient sales, or contract manufacturing. Proven success working with large enterprise customers (CPG, confectionery, or beverage companies). Strong understanding of contract manufacturing, pricing models, and customer P&L management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with comfort engaging at executive levels. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Data-driven mindset; proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems. Strategic thinker with hands-on attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through.
