Key Account Manager Lead (KAML) Location: Eastern Aichi (Shizuoka to Aichi prefecture) Department: Sales Job type: Full Time Join us and make a difference when it matters most! Role summary In this role, you will serve as a “champion of expanding appropriate use” within your assigned territory. Based on corporate and segment strategies, you will holistically drive a dual-model approach that combines account acquisition with usage penetration, leading the realization and expansion of regular use at healthcare facilities. The incumbent will manage KAM account plans, consensus-building processes, and the quality of HCP engagement at a high level, evolving the sales objective from traditional “MR sales management” to “achieving penetration within accounts.” Key responsibilities Management of KAM Activities Understand the company’s sales strategy and support the creation and implementation of KAM account plans aligned with it. Conduct regular reviews of account plans to ensure KAMs are demonstrating leadership in expanding appropriate use at their assigned healthcare facilities and to manage the quality of KAM activities. Deepening Appropriate Use Within Healthcare Facilities Identify and map decision-makers within healthcare facilities. Continuously improve the accuracy of decision-making pathways within healthcare facilities. Review the status of consensus building with priority physicians, identify barriers, and clarify countermeasures. Support the optimization of endoscopy process operations within medical facilities through the provision of appropriate information. Expand the range of physicians met with Move away from reliance on existing physicians and proactively develop touchpoints witnew physicians. Design a physician pool tailored to each medical facility Promoting Adoption Across Multidisciplinary Teams Within the Hospital Provide appropriate information to stakeholders working in the endoscopy suite (nurses, technicians, coordinators, etc.) to accelerate the implementation process until stable usage is achieved. Precise segmentation management Concentrate resources on high-impact medical facilities based on precise segmentation (e.g., dividing the market into 10% increments). Monitor the alignment between KAM activities and segment strategies, and ensure execution through continuous improvement. What you’ll bring Bachelor's Master’s degree or higher MR Certification Standard Driver's Licence Experience mentoring MRs, KAMs, and others as a people manager 5+ years of experience as a KAM or MR Experience in the gastroenterology and anesthesiology fields Strong track record of working at university hospitals or major hospitals Ability to build consensus with a diverse range of healthcare professionals A strong track record in the development and management of account plans as the foundation for KAM activities Demonstrate an integrated drive to collaborate with and mobilize cross-functional internal teams (Marketing, Medical, Commercial Excellence/SFE) Ability to understand and support the optimization of SOPs, workflows, and protocols within healthcare facilities Demonstrate strong execution of data-driven, precise targeting Diversity and Inclusion Building an inclusive environment where people can thrive, grow and achieve their full potential is a priority.
