Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Vice President of Volvo Sales and Marketing, the Key Account Manager – Mining is responsible to drive business growth, build strong relationships, and represent our leading brands – Mack, Volvo, and UD.
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maximising VGA’s growth into key mining accounts by leveraging our full suite of brands, products, and service offerings. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic customer engagement plans, driving sales, and ensuring the seamless delivery of total fleet solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Represent and promote the Volvo Group Total Offer, focusing on cost-effective and sustainable solutions for mining operations.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Proactively manage pipeline planning, forecasting, and fleet transitions to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
  • Prepare and submit tenders and trade-in valuations.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive business development initiatives and represent VGA in industry associations and key mining forums.
