Join us as Key Account Manager – Modern Trade (Tesco) JOB PURPOSE This role exists to drive sustainable business growth by developing strong relationships with key retail customers and executing effective, customer-focused strategies within the Slovak FMCG market. You will contribute to building long-term partnerships, delivering commercial excellence, and ensuring consistent execution of business plans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement customer strategies aligned with overall company growth objectives Support and lead commercial negotiations on sales targets, trade investments, and promotional plans Drive profitable growth through effective account and category management Ensure successful execution of product listings, pricing, and promotional activities Manage customer budgets and contribute to delivering sales and profit targets Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers while identifying growth opportunities Coordinate selected key account activities across CZ/SK in collaboration with internal stakeholders Work cross-functionally (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure smooth execution Delivery customer-focused solutions that create value and support sustainable growth REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of experience in Key Account Management/Trade Marketing/Sales within FMCG Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills Fluent Slovak and advanced English Analytical, results-driven mindset with a proactive approach Communication and stakeholder management skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with retail customers in the Slovak market Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Strong interest in developing commercial and leadership capabilities ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Salary in the range of 23 200 – 26 200 EUR gross annually (depending on experience) Entitlement to 25 days of vacation, 5 personal days, and 1 birthday day off Annual bonus based on performance indicators Hybrid working model and flexible working hours Meal allowance Company car Contribution to retirement savings products up to 3% Group life insurance Access to our training system (e‑learning courses and on‑the‑job training provided by trainers and coaches) Wellbeing support (Multisport card, contributions to the benefit card) Company events and teambuilding activities Unilever products and refreshments available at the workplace Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
