Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in the DACH region, headquartered in Garching, Germany. As part of the DACH Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing and optimizing the performance of our largest Omni Channel sales accounts in the DACH region. This sales performance currently includes (but is not limited to) content optimization, category Management, PPC for on & offsite, and commercial plan support).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work in a matrix collaboration and alignment of company wide sales organization (which involves brick & mortar retailer, pure player & direct E-commerce teams). This includes collaboration with EHQ on centralized online accounts.
  • Lead and drive the German Tier 1 Omni Channel MSH regarding sales and marketing performance.
  • Work in collaboration with the Key Account Manager DACH & Sales Support department to manage, nature and optimize existing pure player accounts. This also includes collaboration with product management to deliver the needs of pure player accounts.
  • Oversee, analyze and report account performance (sell-in / out / stock management). This includes developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability for the key accounts, as well as negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth through upselling and x-selling.
  • Based on deep understanding of the MSH business, lead and drive content and category management in the daily operations of the campaigns and ensure they deliver the agreed targets when it comes to agency fee, PPC spend, revenue, ROAS and project roadmap aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Provide guidance to pure player on best practices for optimizing online and offline sales, such as product selection, promotions, and logistics.
  • Monitor & report KPI’s daily and ensure our always on performance marketing campaigns deliver against monthly/quarterly and annual targets in terms of cost, revenue and ROAS. Identify areas of improvement.
  • Test and implement performance marketing strategies and tactics to drive acquisition and conversion through new paid media channels.
  • Report monthly on overall DACH Sales business, segments and account performances.
  • Collaborate with the team to execute and deliver sales and content related technical improvements and projects.
  • Align and share learnings/results with all relevant internal stakeholders internally in order to ensue all accounts having access to the latest tools and technologies to improve their profitable sales.
  • Development of sell-out-oriented sales & marketing activities for the accounts.
  • Manage the account within investment and cost budgets.
