Responsibilities
  • Commercially manage the assigned accounts by proposing pricing strategy and preparing quotations with contractual terms and conditions within the boundaries of the company rules; give sales presentations, inform clients about innovations introduced by Metco, related to applications and processes
  • Define and manage the sales budget and forecast per account and actively contribute to the achievement of the key country budget.
  • Identify and establish relationships with all the relevant decision makers per account, define the account business profile and key buying factors, develop, document and implement sales plans per account, in conjunction with sales manager and, where requested, with segment and product managers.
  • Consult with customers on coatings and applications, recommending products and services as necessary, help to develop new applications, analyse customer needs and technical specifications, manage sampling and demonstration activities where appropriate.
  • Identify prospects and contact them with the target to acquire and develop them.
  • Support customers and provide an interface to Oerlikon Metco (including quality claims and cash collection/account receivables management).
  • Manage customer data by utilizing the company CRM system.
  • Permanently provide feedback from customers and market to appropriate departments within Oerlikon Metco, including competitive information and market pricing, ensuring the understanding of market trends.
  • Attend trade shows, events and industry seminars, as necessary and in agreement with the direct managers.
