The Agilent Healthcare Diagnostics Group (HDx) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and people-oriented individual to join our successful and dynamic Nordic Team.
You will operate in Norway but will be part of the Nordic team for Pathology, also enabling you to share as well as to tap on experiences from your colleagues in the other Nordic countries.
As a HDx Account Manager, you will be driving sales in the clinical environment. Covering Cellular Pathology (Histology) to supply reagents and instrumentation, focusing on acquiring new customers, while retaining and growing the existing installed base of customers. You will be encouraged to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell sophisticated Cellular pathology and workflow solutions across the Clinical continuum. You will also maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers in the assigned territory, such as key teaching hospitals and reference centers, in line with Agilent’s corporate strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc or higher in Biology, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience within the clinical Pathology field.
  • Preferably sales experience with a proven track record of successfully selling capital equipment into clinical pathology, genetics, molecular pathology disciplines.
  • Adaptable and can work to deadline can use a multitude of software applications, project management and can work with cross functional teams,
  • Highly motivated, with excellent self-management, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be fluent in Norwegian language, written/spoken and English at user level.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time and 50% work from a home office.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Cellular pathology (histology), inclusive of capital equipment, reagents, consumables, software, and service to provide end to end workflows.
  • Understand Cellular pathology applications in the Clinical setting. Specifically histological staining, H&E, Specials, IHC, and ISH. Effectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in existing and new accounts.
  • Efficiently handle a funnel of leads and opportunities in CRM and provide an accurate monthly sales forecast and territory narrative.
  • Develop and complete a territory business plan that will enable Agilent to gain market share and achieve sales goals in the territory.
  • Collaborate with the Field Marketing team to coordinate and advertise regional promotions and awareness events within the territory (e.g. workshops, seminars, etc.).
  • Conduct product presentations and instrument demonstrations with and without Product Specialist (PS) assistance.
  • Provide constructive feedback from customers into Agilent to help guide continual development of groundbreaking products that address evolving customer needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships.
  • Participate and be an active member in regional discussion groups and forums.
  • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
