Description:

We are now seeking a Key Account Manager to help us further building the future of food. You will be based in Bröndby, Denmark and report to the Country Manager Retail Denmark.
In this role you will be responsible for the achievement of the country sales targets in key accounts and in retail total and delivery of profitability targets on GC2.
You will build relationship and develop close partnership with the customers (category captain role) and develop and grow our branded market position and always drive towards market and category leadership.

What you will do

  • Sales forecasting, prognoses and monitoring against targets
  • Margin analysis, terms & conditions
  • Budgeting on customer levels and product groups
  • Develop and maintain running retail business in key accounts with implementing Consumer First Approach
  • Develop, implement and evaluate in a structured way all promotions at customers
  • Tenders and contract negotiations with current and potential new customers
  • Actively seek increased distribution and new prospects
  • Continuous development of way of working – maximize customer experience at optimized costs
  • Managing and monitoring discounts and joint marketing expenses, making savings where possible
  • Optimize outbound value chain together with supply chain / logistics
  • Forecast accuracy, including sales campaigns and assortment changes

What we expect from you

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:

  • University degree with major in economics, engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retail business either as KAM or sale manager in FMCG company.
  • Analytical skills and mindset combined with extended negotiations skills
  • To enjoy this role, you need to be a team player with a positive and energetic can-do attitude, capability for building partnerships, and at the same time ability to work independently
  • This position suits someone who enjoys working in fast moving area and is able to handle new directions and working with several tasks simultaneously
  • Fluency written and spoken English
