Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA’s commercial focus is to manage and develop the Company’s direct business with key travel retail customers based in the EMEA region as well as their subsidiary operations across the world.
Travel Retail in the EMEA region is a multi-channel retail environment with customers drawn from all over the world. The market is highly competitive and dominated by Off Trade retailers with global operations. The remit of this role focusses on Northern Europe with a priority on ferry business.
Your unique contribution

You will have plenty of responsibilities:

  • Identify key opportunities and grow market share/value &volume with the key retail customers within their remit.
  • Work closely with the Customer Marketing team, finance, and operations teams to ensure key brand strategies are fulfilled.
  • Work closely with supply chain department, to forecast customer volumes in line with company expectations.
  • Propose, align, negotiate and agree promotional and development plans for key customers.
  • Manage new listings, pricing and trade terms negotiation.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales data, promotions, prices and reports with input and solutions, including monthly reports in line to business requirements
  • Track major competitor activity and report potential impact on key Pernod Ricard brands.
  • Manage Brand Ambassador teams and agencies and organize/conduct brand trainings for BA/customers where necessary
  • Organize and manage customer trade fairs
  • Manage travel/business costs in line with budgets.
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  • Are degree educated
  • Previous experience in Travel Retail preferred
  • Have good interpersonal skills, team player, collaborative
  • Are autonomous, rigorous, details oriented with good analytical skills.
  • Have Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge
  • Have previous commercial and account management experience
  • Have experience in the Spirits industry is a plus
  • Fluent in English, an additional language is a plus
  • Anaplan, Oracle or SAP is a plus
  • Must be willing to travel in EMEA as required
