Reporting to the Business Unit Head, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the Rare Disease portfolio in the ‘South’ Territory (VIC, SA, WA) in a professional and ethical manner. Responsibilities Planning and Insight · Develop a detailed territory plan with a focus on key account management · Key planning of the assigned territory (quarterly multichannel cycle plans, reporting KPIs and call planning) · Plan interactions with detailed pre-call plans and post call objectives · Develop, plan and execute promotional meetings with HCPs Execution and Delivery · Responsible for delivering on all commercial goals for the market, including successful product launches and achieve sales targets · Have an in-depth understanding of the assigned area and implement tactical plans in line with product strategy within the allocated budget · Initiate, develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders on territory Reporting and Actions · Proficient use of Veeva CRM · Complete required reporting and monthly admin in a timely manner · Proactively collect CI (competitive intelligence), share insights and information to relevant stakeholders within the company · Continuous learning mindset including improving knowledge about products and selling skills · Act in accordance with all manufacturer SOPs, Medison SOPs and any relevant industry codes of conduct as well as Medison core values Requirements · Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Sales/ Medical Representative · Prior experience with Rare Diseases and orphan drugs an advantage · Prior experience of working in Neurology a distinct advantage · Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in life and/ or natural sciences, business, medicine, nursing, pharmaceutical or a similar discipline · Patient and customer centric · Highly collaborative and a strong team player working in a high performing team · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully maintain professional and trusting relationships · Works effectively in highly dynamic, changing environments and displays agility · Strong self-management, self-motivation and efficient time management · Managing complexity (across brands, markets, functions) and showing resilience · Ability to collaborate and influence across senior stakeholders · Strategic understanding and outlook · High ethical and compliance standards. · Must be an Australian citizen/ resident with Australian working rights – only candidates based on assigned territory to be considered (VIC/SA/WA)
