As a Key Account Manager in Respiratory, you will be at the forefront of strategic account management, driving the performance of our Biologics portfolio. Your role will involve driving a successful launch by identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, and crafting tailored business development strategies to achieve ambitious goals. Accountabilities Represent AstraZeneca standards and values in all external interactions Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the managed portfolio Develop and implement account strategies and business concepts aligned with account needs, including defining objectives, milestones, and measures Prepare and execute account plans, ensuring all activities comply with internal and external codes and regulations Identify, build, and further develop network structures (physicians, patients, diagnostics, etc.) Forge strategic partnerships and provide support to key stakeholders in hospitals and private practices Conduct highly scientific, customer- and patient-focused discussions Deliver internal and/or external specialist presentations as required Engage in continuous development in science, sales, and systems Collaborate cross-functionally with Franchise Leads, field colleagues, brand teams, and patient safety Share market insights to help drive marketing, sales, and medical excellence Mentor colleagues as appropriate Complete monthly reports, including competitive analysis and intelligence Perform segmentation and targeting activities Plan, manage, and take responsibility for budgets Essential Skills/Experience Pharmareferent exam or scientific degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary medicine Knowledge of Austrian pharmaceutical and healthcare market; hospital experience will be preferred Proven sales, key account management, and negotiation skills Advanced product and therapy expertise Excellent planning, management, and presentation abilities Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills Customer focus, teamwork, and results-driven mindset Outstanding selling and negotiation abilities Confident, resilient, and flexible approach Fluent English (spoken and written) Category B driving license High motivation, attention to detail, able to perform under pressure We offer: Base salary: €71,295/year (full-time basis) Bonus opportunities linked to company success Extensive social benefits, including company pension and additional insurance Flexible working hours with hybrid work options Support for continuous professional development The opportunity to work in an environmentally conscious company striving for climate neutrality by 2025 Why AstraZeneca?
