This role offers the opportunity to manage and grow strategic accounts within the energy and infrastructure sector, contributing directly to revenue and market expansion. The Key Account Manager will build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and act as the primary point of contact for customers. With exposure to high-value projects, tender processes, and contract negotiations, this role is critical for driving sustainable business impact and fostering long-term client partnerships. \n Accountabilities Develop new accounts and expand business within existing client portfolios. Identify potential customers, generate leads, and close deals. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing individual needs and resolving issues promptly. Monitor sales metrics, prepare forecasts, and report on account status and transactions. Set, track, and achieve sales targets in alignment with company objectives. Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategies for market share growth. Participate in regular business reviews covering sales, collections, stock, and development initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputed institution. 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with value-selling or solution-selling expertise; experience in paints, coatings, or energy/infrastructure sectors is a plus. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). Proficiency with CRM systems and computer applications. Understanding of business practices, profit & loss analysis, regulatory requirements, tender processes, and sales contracts.
