About the Role We’re recruiting a Key Account Manager to join our Independent Grocery (IG) Commercial Team in Melbourne. This commercially focused role supports Independent Grocery customers, including larger independent groups, with exposure across Sales, Field Operations, Insights and Marketing. The role plays a critical part in enabling account growth by owning reporting, data validation, customer support and activation planning, allowing senior sales leaders to focus on strategic, growth‑driving initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Sales – Independent Grocery, success will be driven by commercial curiosity, attention to detail and the ability to turn data into action. Key Responsibilities Support IG and MSO accounts with reporting, analysis and day‑to‑day account administration Validate and interpret scan and customer data (including Circana) to support commercial decisions Assist with promotional planning, slotting and in‑store activation initiatives Partner with field teams to equip them with insights, tools and activation plans Support trade spend, accruals and claims processes with strong attention to detail Contribute to projects such as trade shows, customer expos and key activations About You Experience in FMCG, grocery, sales support, category support or junior account management Strong analytical capability, with confidence working with scan data and commercial reporting High attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to work A proactive, curious mindset — you ask questions, seek to understand customers and look for opportunities to improve outcomes Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships A collaborative, resilient approach and ambition to grow your career within FMCG What We Offer A commercially exposed role within a highly experienced Independent Grocery team Opportunity to work on high‑profile customers, activations and national projects Strong development and progression potential within Sales and Commercial functions The chance to put your stamp on key initiatives during a period of growth and focus Click “Apply for this job” to submit your application.
