YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous
  • Several years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably with a focus on managing high-value accounts or in a related industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively liaising with key clients and understanding their needs
  • Strong negotiation abilities for securing favorable terms and agreements that benefit both the company and its clients
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Availability for overnight travel approximately 40% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed growth targets for assigned Key Accounts, identifying market and product opportunities within these accounts.
  • Lead negotiations and provide commercial and technical solutions, utilizing an understanding of tactics.
  • Build and maintain relationships across Schaeffler and Key Accounts, leveraging interpersonal and intercultural abilities.
  • Manage the relationship between Schaeffler and Key Account decision-makers at all levels.
  • Create strategic plans to increase market share at Key Accounts, analyzing complex information to involve stakeholders in strategy implementation.
  • Motivate and guide peers in supporting Key Account strategies while effectively communicating customer insights internally.
  • Ensure Schaeffler aligns with Key Account business strategies and communicates in the customer’s language.
  • Develop and negotiate agreements with Key Accounts, maintaining data integrity and connections.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports in Salesforce, reviewing Key Account sales activity and addressing any sales or budget deficiencies with action plans.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and orders, monitoring Key Account A/R activity, and participating in overdue account procedures.
