Description
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value key accounts across logistics solutions markets (e.g., food, beverage, personal care, industrial, pharma).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, quality, logistics) to deliver customized packaging solutions.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by advising clients on recyclable, biodegradable, and lightweight packaging options.
  • Coordinate packaging trials, product launches, and technical support with cross-functional teams.
  • Track and report on account performance, sales forecasts, and KPIs using CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience managing strategic or global key accounts within reusable transport packaging, pooling solutions, warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling, system integration, logistics solutions, or a related B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success in complex, project-based solution selling, with the ability to manage long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and high-value commercial opportunities. Experience selling integrated solutions is preferred over transactional product sales.
  • Strong strategic account management capabilities, including the development and execution of account plans that drive sustainable revenue growth and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a healthy commercial pipeline, identify growth opportunities, and build compelling business cases that deliver value for both the customer and the organisation.
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations, including pricing strategies, contractual agreements, and multi-year partnership arrangements.
  • Established network of relevant industry contacts across logistics, supply chain, automation, warehousing, retail, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at operational, procurement, engineering, and executive levels.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess profitability, return on investment, and customer business drivers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional and international teams.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills.
