Accountabilities In this role, you will spearhead access and adoption of AstraZeneca’s innovative Oncology portfolio. Collaborating closely with hospitals, payers, and healthcare professionals, you will create shared value and deliver improved patient outcomes. Reporting to the GI National Sales Manager, you will work alongside a talented cross-functional team including Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing. Together, you will design local strategies, deliver educational initiatives, and build partnerships that position AstraZeneca as a trusted ally in the fight against cancer. This role combines science, strategy, and meaningful connection — offering you the opportunity to shape how our medicines reach patients who need them most. Essential Skills/Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field. - Pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally in Oncology or another specialty area. - Proven Key Account Management experience with senior healthcare stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Collaborative and proactive approach to working in cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written). Desirable Skills/Experience - Postgraduate degree or equivalent experience or further certification in Science, Business, or Healthcare Management. - Proven sales experience in Oncology—experience in this area is a strong plus. - Familiarity with the Portuguese Oncology ecosystem, including pathways for diagnosis and treatment. - Experience interpreting and using health economics or outcomes data. - Familiarity with digital and omnichannel engagement approaches.
