Job Summary: Key Account Representatives are responsible for all aspects of our relationship with key semiconductor manufacturer sites. High level goals include.

  • Account retention through improved customer satisfaction
  • Account development through up-selling and cross-selling of our products
  • Continuous improvement of multiple product lines through customer needs analysis
  • Strategic planning through forecasting customer needs

Location: Due to the nature of this position, a close geographical proximity to our customer’s manufacturing sites in Hamburg,Germany is a requirement. We strongly encourage candidates in this location and in Itzehoeto apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the business relationship and relies on excellent communications with management and colleagues to execute plans. The main deliverables are,
  • Creation and maintenance of customer organizational charts and business process flows.
  • Editing meeting reports and regular activity reports.
  • Creation and maintenance of CRM opportunities.
  • Participation in the creation and maintenance of both tactical and strategic plans.
  • Acting as an advisor, the key account representative identifies new opportunities to enhance customer operations and solutions.
  • Analyzes and reports on competitors and risks.
  • Develop tactical plans for sales opportunities based on their unique knowledge of customer needs and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry, or other relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • A prior position as a process or equipment engineer in the wet area, deposition or dry etch is a plus.
  • Empathy and a desire to work with others.
  • Willingness to take ownership in difficult situations.
  • Self-motivation and time management skills are key to this customer-site-based position.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer needs assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills specifically in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and tactics for promoting products and services.
  • Experience with SAP is appreciated.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently in Europe, China and North America.
  • Strategic and flexible approach to project management.
