Key Account Sales Engineer, South Kazakhstan & Armenia Almaty, Kazakhstan Hybrid Purpose of role: The Key Account Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and growing OE and aftermarket sales across South Kazakhstan and Armenia. This role owns key customer relationships, drives new and repeat business, and manages the full sales cycle from opportunity creation through to order execution. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the role plays a critical part in strengthening market presence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable revenue growth within the region. Key Responsibilities: Develop and grow OE and aftermarket sales across South Kazakhstan & Armenia, managing key accounts and regional customers Build strong, long-term relationships with customer decision-makers through regular site visits and account management Identify, create, and convert sales opportunities, including tenders, quotations, trials, and order follow-up Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline management, and CRM updates in line with company processes Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical sales within mining, heavy industry, or machinery sectors Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Mineral Processing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Strong communication skills with fluency in English; Kazakh and Russian required (Turkish is an advantage) Valid driving licence and availability for frequent regional travel Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship.
