Inaba Foods (USA) Inc. continues this legacy by delivering high-quality products that bring joy and nourishment to pets across North America.   We are seeking a Key Account Sales Specialist to support and grow our Walmart business in Bentonville, AR. This junior-level role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with Walmart merchants, supporting sales growth, and ensuring flawless execution within the account.    This is a Bentonville office–based role, with regular meetings on the Walmart campus.   Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as a day-to-day contact for Walmart merchants, replenishment teams, and cross-functional partners. * Support Walmart account planning, including sales forecasts, inventory review, and promotional execution. * Review and analyze POS, purchase order history, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations for line reviews, business updates, and category meetings. * Assist in planning, executing, and tracking promotional programs to drive incremental sales. * Monitor in-store execution (mod resets, distribution, pricing) and collaborate with retail partners or third-party merchandisers. * Participate in the development of sales strategies, feature support, and customer-specific programs. * Maintain accurate Walmart item setup, content management, and digital shelf execution in alignment with Walmart systems. * Resolve customer concerns or operational issues promptly and professionally. * Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and merchandising tactics to identify opportunities. * Provide input on sales estimates for production and supply chain planning. * Support internal cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, and finance. * Manage travel, expenses, and budgets in accordance with company policies. * Represent Inaba Foods with professionalism and integrity. * Perform additional duties as assigned.   Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field. * 1–3 years of relevant experience in CPG sales, account support, category management, or retail buyer support (internships or Walmart vendor experience a bonus). * Experience working with or supporting Walmart or other major retailers preferred. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and data to drive decisions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Ability to create polished, compelling PowerPoint presentations. * Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. * Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external retail partners. * Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to commute daily to the Bentonville office and attend onsite Walmart meetings as required.   Preferred Qualifications * Experience in the pet industry or passion for pet products is a plus. * Familiarity with Walmart Retail Link, Luminate, and other Walmart vendor tools strongly preferred. * Previous involvement in modular planning, item setup, or digital shelf management.   Inaba Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment laws, including California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act.
